Post-Yugoslav area 1992–2014: The problems of national self-determination and non-recognized states

Abstract

The article is devoted to national selfdetermination on post-Yugoslav area and deals with selfproclaimed states in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, as well as Kosovo. The author distinguishes some periods in disintegration of Yugoslav multinational federative state and postwar normalization and concludes that despite numerous positive phenomenon and events during recent years the aim to overcome conflicts of national self-determination process is difficult to achieve.
