Immigration policy in the XXI century: Case of the United States

Abstract

In recent decades, the US immigration policy has undergone dramatic changes. Anglo-Saxon Protestants have become a group attracting little attention of the US Establishment. The ratio of this social strata gradually decreases, which in the future may affect the US national identity and its political motto. The article analyzes several papers in this field and outlines possible ways to prevent the US identity crisis.
