For centuries the Falkland Islands and Gibraltar have been the apples of discord in British relations with Argentina and Spain. The sovereignty issue represents the essence of these continuous territorial claims. Both conflicts have low intensity at the moment, however Brexit might become a game changer. The aim of this article is to present the above mentioned cases and analyze the current situation.
