The article aims to identify resources and strategies of the separatist movement in Catalonia (1990–2013), its influence on autonomous community status. By comparing the Catalan parties’ stages of development the causes of their strategies’ radicalization in conflict with the central authorities of Spain were recognized. The article focuses on institutional and sociocultural aspects of separatism, technologies of management in the center-regional conflict.
