The analysis presented in the article reveals connection of the financial crisis in Europe and inefficient use of the package of instruments within the institute of private property. Leasing is one of such instruments. In the first half of the 90-ies, then during the default in 1998 the leasing instrument was also not used in Russia though it could provide much more successful scenario of development. The content of export, transit and import leasing and its application capability in Russia are also discovered.
