Globalisation has substantially changed the Latin America–Europe migration flows dynamics. The destinations’ diversification is clearly evident first of all for South American migrants. 30% of the region migrants have chosen Europe, while Spain accounts for 55% of this flow. New quality of intercontinental migration provides a great potential for economic development and human capital transformation.
